Ruben Agosto has served as a law enforcement professional for over 18 years with the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, DC. Mr. Agosto is currently assigned to the Fugitive Unit in which he deals with the transportation of criminals from outside jurisdictions and has been assigned there since 2015.

During Mr. Agosto's tenure with the Metropolitan Police Department, He has served 4 years in the warrant Squad identifying and locating wanted Individuals. Mr. Agosto also spent 4 years working in an elite narcotics unit where he served as a narcotics officer in the operations and the arrest team and is highly specialized in the handling of high-risk search warrants. Mr. Agosto also served 1 year as an instructor at the Metropolitan Police Academy. Mr. Agosto trained new recruit classes in DC Code and Patrol tactics. Mr. Agosto also served several years as a patrol officer. While serving as a patrol officer, Mr. Agosto focused on community oriented policing; Field trained several new police officers and took citizens and recruit officers on ride alongs throughout the District of Columbia, so they can experience and also have first-hand knowledge on how not so routine patrol was.

Mr. Agosto has received numerous training throughout his career to include CPR certification, defensive tactics, firearms training and defensive driving courses conflict de-escalation. Mr. Agosto has received training and participated in crowd/ riot control. Mr. Agosto has also participated in protection and movements of both dignitary and the POTUS.

Mr. Agosto has worked with the NBA's Washington Wizards and the NHL's Washington Capitals as an On-site Police Officer during bith NBA and NHL games. Mr. Agosto has provided executive protection for NBA and NHL high profile athletes and families. He also provided executive protection to several music celebrities and comedians that performed at the Capital One Arena.
